Torres teams up with Mexican singer, Dulce, to sing about love.

MIAMI, Florida (January 16, 2010) - In the advent of Valentines Day, singer Alvaro Torres is releasing his song "Nuestro Amor” (Our Love), the second single from his latest release titled "Muy Personal” (Very Personal).

Since the release of his newest album last October, Alvaro has become very popular among various radio stations in Latin America and the United States. He has also climbed to the #3 spot on Billboard’s Christian Music Sales Chart. 

"I'm very thankful for the fan support, but even more for God’s support," said Alvaro Torres. He believes that it is by the grace of God that he is alive today and able to share what the Lord has given him.

"As in several of his previous albums, where he has duets with amazing singers like Marisela, Jose Feliciano, and the late Selena, the Salvadorian singer's new album features  singer Dulce on this beautiful duet. Torres and Dulce came together to sing "Nuestro Amor” (Our Love).

"Besides being very talented, Dulce is a dear friend. She is very loved by the Hispanic community,” said the award-winning singer-songwriter. Alvaro has collaborated with Dulce in the past by composing some of the best-known songs of the renowned Mexican singer like "Aun lo Amo” (I Still Love Him).

Most of the songs on his new album are totally Christ-centered. However, there are four songs on the album "Muy Personal” with social, humanitarian and romantic themes, like the song "Nuestro Amor.”

As its name suggests, the song is about love for a partner. Alvaro said, "in the midst of a society where there are so many marriages that end in disaster, this song conveys the importance of keeping the promise that was made to God."

Regardless of his conversion to Christianity, Alvaro Torres says he will continue singing about love and disaffection, two feelings that have inspired him to write some of the most romantic songs ever written in the history of Latin music.
